Explore AMMA’s collection of filigree. Filigree is an ancient lace-like metal technique with thin gold wire transformed into ornaments of intricate, delicate patterns. It starts by creating very thin flexible gold wire. These wires are twisted and shaped into detailed patterns within a framework. After soldering, the piece can be shaped into form and polished. AMMA’s filigree is made of 18 carat yellow or white gold and characterized by fine delicate ornaments captured within a bold minimalistic frame, combined with one-of-a-kind natural color diamonds, untreated and unheated gemstones and pearls.
